Tetra Tech's Disaster Recovery Unit is now accepting applications for Field Archaeologist. Field archaeologist will support Tetra Tech field projects based in northern California. Field Archaeologist will support the Tetra Tech field team with compliance with California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) and federal National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) environmental protection requirements, for preservation of historic structures and artifacts under emergency operations. Archaeologist will also advise on best management practices prior to debris removal.
The ideal candidate will have:
• Registered Professional Archaeologist, Certified Archaeological Surveyor, or equivalent qualification
• Ability to work up to 6 days a week, 10-12 hours a day, outdoors
• Must have valid driver license and good driving record.
