· LS Technologies, a Tetra Tech Company, is seeking a Technology Specialist with technical expertise in enterprise network telecommunications systems and services to support the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) at FAA facilities across the USA and its territories. The person filling this position will be part of a large FAA team responsible for the oversight, coordination, and planning for the migration of thousands of telecommunications circuits carrying critical FAA Air Traffic Control services from legacy infrastructure to new and modernized infrastructure, meeting the demands of the digital era. This position provides subject matter expertise in operations and engineering support for the Telecommunications Integrated Services (TIS) program portfolio. Provision of expert level guidance and assistance will require a thorough understanding of the impact of telecommunications on NAS and non-NAS services.
Responsibilities
· Assist in Telecommunications vendor Network Operation Control Centers (NOCC), working with FAA Liaisons and vendor personnel.
· Establish and maintain relationships with on-site coordinators, customers, and stakeholders.
· Assist FAA Telecommunications Managers and Subject Matter Experts in the activation and migration of critical FAA services to a new and modernized telecommunications infrastructure.
· Provide expertise and consultation on organizational approaches, risks, and mitigation strategies.
· Develop Concept of Operations for managing complex integrated telecommunications portfolio lifecycle requirements.
· Provide consulting on operational issues, telecommunication technical solutions, process improvements, transition and operational risk management.
· Provide cybersecurity guidance and liaison help with the ATO Cybersecurity Group.
· Recommending, developing, and implementing mechanisms for the collection, reporting, and dissemination of telecommunications performance data needed for these metrics.
· Develop executive level briefing materials (white papers, power points, etc.} and draft responses for external inquiries (Congressional, OIG, etc.}.
· Understanding all related FAA policies and orders
· Provide liaison services to the larger ATO telecommunications stakeholder community (ie AJW-2, AJW-1, AJM-2, etc).
· Occasionally conduct on-site surveys and/or provide on-site assistance to resolve complex network issues.
· Manage and track large scale telecommunications projects and schedules
· Work with FAA organizations to assist in meeting the overall mission of their organization.

Compensation (Pay Bands)
Salary at LST is determined by a wide array of factors, such as (but not limited to) education, certifications, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, location, and clearance level, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements and applicable employment laws. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
The projected compensation range for this position is provided within the posting and is based on full-time, 40 hour/week status. Part-time staff receive compensation at an hourly rate. The estimated minimum and maximum displayed represents the broadest range for this position (inclusive of high geographic and high clearance requirements) and is just one component of LSTs total compensation package for employees. ** In compliance with local laws, LS Technologies presents this reasonable compensation range as a guideline for roles in California, Colorado, New York, or Washington D.C."
