C.B.E.S.T., is now part of The Stepping Stones Group, we are immediately hiring for a rewarding position as a Behavior Technician! This position allows you to work one on one with a child at a school setting, utilizing the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to meet specific behavior goals for that child. Current positions are available M-F, between the hours of 8am-3pm, and would be 30+ hours/week.


As a Behavior Technician, you will work one on one with a child at school. You will work collaboratively with a company Case Supervisor to develop and implement positive behavior intervention strategies to improve a child's skills in the following areas of development: functional behavior, emotional language and communication, socialization, academic performance, and independent daily living skills. You must be receptive and be willing to work with students who exhibit mild to severe behaviors (i.e., aggression, elopement, etc.).

Position Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in psychology, child development, education, special education, social work, counseling, or a related field (Preferred).
  • Prior experience working with children.
  • Must be patient, creative, motivational & enthusiastic toward children.
  • Must be ethical, professional, reliable, diligent, and work well within a team setting.
  • Must be comfortable taking initiative, taking direction from others as well as working independently.
  • Must be able to run short distances, sit on floor, bend down, squat, kneel, lift up to 25 lbs. and twist at the waist in order to interact and educate our clients.
  • Must be able to stand and sit for extended periods of time.
  • Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) and/or Safety Care is preferred.

Requirements for all Positions:  Clear criminal background check, TB clearance, COVID-19 Vaccination; reliable transportation; valid CA driver's license; auto insurance; a minimum 1-year commitment
