United Rentals is excited to offer our customers a valuable outsourced customized service to assist them in managing their onsite fleet and making them more efficient and productive. Leveraging URI operations and fleet management experience, we now have a dedicated staff to assist customers with their fleet management and internal equipment needs. Our Customer Equipment Solutions (CES) team will pursue large customers with significant fleet management needs, to help them optimize their onsite fleet efficiency and utilization, and lower their total cost of ownership through delivery of engineered fleet management solutions. Playing a critical role within the CES team, we are seeking a Senior Manager to effectively leverage our core fleet management competencies to deliver more value to our customers as a trusted and strategic business partner. The Sr. Manager, CES-Onsite Operations is the fleet management strategist working directly with the project site personnel team(s) on customized solutions and project deliverables. As a subject matter expert resource, the Sr. Manager also provides training and support for internal customers while delivering engineered solutions for customers who seek efficiency within their owned equipment operations. The purpose of the position is to assist in driving incremental revenue and profitability for the Company within all targeted and applicable customer accounts, while driving customer entanglement in order to support, and solidify, customer relationships. * Focus on the implementation of Customer Equipment Solutions product and service offerings within assigned/targeted customers, customer segments, applicable assigned geography, and corresponding Branches, Districts, and Regions. Work with applicable internal branch team(s) members to drive incremental Customer Equipment Solutions revenue and profitability while deepening customer relationships and entanglement. Education- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is preferred. Experience * 10+ years' operations experience, preferably in branch or operations with large account management, executing and implementing complex project/onsite solutions. Branch Managers encouraged to apply. * Operations and fleet management equipment experience, is highly desirable. .Onsite/industrial experience preferred * Strong planning, problem-solving and negotiation skills, excellent interpersonal communication skills, and proficient computer skills. .Strong ability to influence internal and external customers * Knowledge of construction or related equipment is preferred; however, candidates with comparable industry experience, a strong sales acumen and record of achievement will also be considered. * Independent and possess strong research and organizational skills.
