Role: AI/ML Annotations Consultant / Practice Leader
Cognizant's Digital Operations Technology Practice works with world's most exciting Digital Companies. Our work encompasses Digital Marketing, Sales Operations, Customer Experience, Partner Experience and Digital Maps. Our Clients' Artificial intelligence (AI) solutions are driving change in the business world, including language translation, autonomous vehicles, cancer diagnosis, facial recognition, fraud detection, and automating some legal tasks.
Cognizant's managed annotations practice area aims to fully label the world, understand as much as possible, including scenarios that our clients do not foresee today. This role will involve helping our clients scale machine learning projects focused on internationalization. The AI/Ml Annotations Consultant will work with clients to build solutions suited to their data specification needs, operationalizing global delivery models, creating a business case for new models and setting up processes that deliver high quality data at efficient costs.
Role Summary
Location – USA
Travel – Travel will vary depending on customer and prospect requirements.
Ability to Work with Global Teams located in North America, India, Europe.
Role Description :
Deep understanding and experience with machine learning use cases, trends, and industry.
Has managed a team providing timely delivery of annotated data (image, video, text) according to an evolving, and fast-paced, program schedule
Has managed and developed a comprehensive quality assurance program to ensure stellar data quality
Has a strong technical understanding of the entirety of the annotation program across the lifecycle
Has worked with labeling vendors understands commercial terms and their business implications
Has a deep understanding of labeling policies which requires a solid understanding of the engineering and operational implications of policy details
Comfortable leading customer meetings with prospects and clients.
Partner with Sales Teams to define and execute the go-to-market strategy & messaging.
Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and get results in a new space
Passion for digging deep into a subject matter area
Ability to collaborate with different teams, utilize outstanding influencing skills, and demonstrate strong senior-level/executive communication abilities.
Ability to contribute consistently and positively in a high-paced, fast-changing, and unpredictable work environment
Ability to synthesize complex topics and distill key business dynamics to senior leaders and partners
Analytical and creative problem solver with a can-do attitude and flexibility to accommodate to evolving business needs. The ability to “roll up your sleeves” and work with a client to create timely solutions and resolutions.
Ability to deliver large scale projects on-time with consistently successful results while working across departments and time zones
Solid ability to operate autonomously across multiple teams in a matrixed organization
High level of proficiency crafting high impact presentations using Keynote / MS PowerPoint to clearly articulate solutions.
Collaborative, flexible and open working style, with an ability to quickly establish trust and credibility
Experience in engaging with VP+ audiences in AI/ML companies
Track record of driving ML research projects from start to completion, including conception, problem definition, experimentation, iteration, and finally publication or productization
Experience designing, training, and analyzing neural networks
Proven track record of publications in relevant conferences (CVPR, ICML, NeurIPS, ICCV, ICLR...)
Business Solution Development Oversight – As part of sales pursuits, partner with Cognizant's Business Operations solution architects and delivery teams to create effective deal solutions.
Proposal Development - Understand customer needs and translate them into winning proposals for Cognizant and its Clients.
Revenue growth – Work with Sales Leaders to Develop Point of View and Solutions to grow our practice globally.
Review existing operations with the lens of improving towards best-in-class outcomes, benchmarking operating practices and engaging with delivery teams to improve Cognizant mindshare
