DIRECTOR OF PHARMACY - FULL TIME
MCLAREN NORTHERN MICHIGAN (Regional Hospital)
Hours: This is a Salaried, non-exempt, 40 hours a week position, with a typical work schedule of Monday-Friday
As a Director of Pharmacy at McLaren Northern Michigan located in Petoskey, MI, MI you will manage and direct the activities of the of the Pharmacy. Management responsibilities will include developing, implementing and monitoring compliance with departmental policies and procedures. Maintenance of a system for staff development and evaluation to ensure regulatory compliance to promote optimal patient care will be a cornerstone to success. Responsibilities will also involve developing and maintaining a system of financial and inventory control according to hospital standards, including preparation, submission and administration of an annual departmental budget. As well as, oversee departmental participation in various hospital committees to ensure appropriate representation (including, but not limited to, Infection Control Committee, Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee, Safety Committee).
About the Facility: McLaren Northern Michigan is a 202-bed regional hospital located in Petoskey, Michigan serving residents in 22 counties across northern Lower Michigan and the eastern part of the Upper Peninsula. More than 230 physicians represent nearly all medical and surgical specialties, enabling full-service care with an emphasis on cardiology, cancer, orthopedics, and neurosciences.

Required Qualifications: (DOP)
BS or PharmD from an accredited School of Pharmacy
State Pharmacist licensure in good standing
Management experience in a healthcare/hospital environment.
Ability to solve problems, establish trust and credibility.
Demonstrated teaching, relevant professional publications and involvement with Professional organizations.
Demonstrated ability to work independently, set priorities, make critical decisions, respond to client concerns and work cooperatively with other staff.
