Hours: This position will work 40 hours per week during the evening and weekend shifts.
Description: As a Comprehensive Pharmacy Services (CPS) Pharmacy Technician at CMMC, your responsibilities will include customer service with patients at the counter and over the phone, interpreting prescriptions and entering information into the computer, preparing medication, purchasing medication, and restocking shelves.
About the Facility: The Central Maine Healthcare is an integrated healthcare delivery organization serving central and western Maine. CMH's acute care facilities include Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston, Bridgton Hospital, and Rumford Hospital. Other CMH affiliates provide various outpatient and clinical services and maintain residential care facilities. Management of the pharmacy is outsourced to CPS.
- HS Diploma or GED Required
- Licensed or have the ability to get licensed with the ME Board of Pharmacy
- Pharmacy technician experience a plus but willing to train someone with applicable experience
- Attention to detail and effective verbal and written communication skill
