Hours | Schedule: This position is scheduled 15-19 each week; 3-4 hours shifts daily Monday through Friday, hours/shifts are flexible. There is also on call associated with this position.
As a part time, Speech Language Pathologist for PSI Rehabilitation Services at Adams at Adams County Regional Medical Center you are Co-Responsible for administration and direct application of Speech-Language pathology treatment modalities as prescribed by a referring physician. Duties include evaluating, planning, directing, and treating all patients referred to Speech-Language Pathology. In this role you will perform Modified Barium Swallows for adults. As well as assist patients to obtain maximum performance and function in society while learning to live a routine “normal” life within constraints of their disability.
About the Facility: Adams County Regional Medical Center is a Critical Access Hospital consisting of 25 private inpatient units, 25 private outpatient units, 5 of which are designated as an inpatient Hospice Unit, with the collaboration of Hospice of Hope – Ohio Valley. The Emergency Department has 14 private examination rooms, with 3 being equipped specifically for trauma. The Surgical Suite is comprised of two operating rooms and an endoscopy procedure room. The Imaging, Rehabilitation, Outpatient Specialty Clinic, Laboratory and Cardio Pulmonary Departments were enlarged to meet the demands of new technology and to provide access of needed medical services to our area. ACRMC continues to be the regional leader in quality healthcare services in Southern Ohio. The department hours are 7:30am to 6:30pm. Our Rehabilitation team is consists of 5 Physical Therapists, 6 Physical Therapist Assistants, 2 Occupational Therapists, 3 Occupational Therapist Assistants and a Speech Language Pathologist. We serve a full spectrum of ages in inpatient, outpatient and skilled nursing settings. PSI Rehabilitation Services manages the day to day operations of the department.
- Master's degree from an accredited college in Speech-Language PathologyCurrent OH state licensure as a Speech- Language Pathologist
- Current BCLS certification
- Preferred specialty certifications
- 1+ years' of experience in acute care and outpatient setting
