The Sales Compensation Operations Analyst will be responsible for monthly operational duties, documentation, audit & quality control related to all commission plans for the company. It serves to enhance the customer experience by ensuring timely and accurate information and communication on commission plans and payments to Shaw's sales force.  This position works closely with the Manager(s) and Sr Specialist to help research issues and inquiries. The ideal candidate is a team player who possesses analytical skills, enjoys diagnosing and resolving customer questions, and is able to navigate changing priorities and projects. To be successful, the candidate must be someone who enjoys detail-oriented and challenging tasks to solve, thrives in a fast-paced environment and possesses the aptitude to work independently.

Essential Duties:

  • Audit for quality and accuracy within the system and on a monthly basis

  • Prepare and update documentation of designs, procedures, requirements, and changes

  • Communicate changes and updated documentation with the team

  • Manage the day-to-day and monthly operations of the commissions system (including entering adjustments and assisting in calculation of commission payments)

  • Act as liaison between team of developers and compensation specialists/managers to execute strategic initiatives

  • Respond to sales people regarding commissions questions

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Bachelor's degree (degree preference given to those that provide knowledge of technical writing in information technologies) and 2+ years of experience in IT operations or related field

  • Excellent written communication skills, including technical requirements, diagrams, and procedures

  • Ability to analyze, transform, and compare large volumes of data (structured and unstructured)

  • High level use of worksheets (Excel/Google Sheets, Pivot tables, VLookup, etc)

  • Experience with relational databases, SQL development, data integration, and data analysis

  • Ability to prioritize and adapt to competing demands to meet work objectives and deadlines

  • Contribute to a dynamic working environment by learning new skills and sharing knowledge with team members

  • Creatively apply knowledge and skills to increase efficiency and accuracy

  • Experience with Varicent/Anaplan, project management, and/or analytics tools preferred

8 Hr non-rotating shift, Hrs fall to in punch day, Observed Calendar, shift starts AM
