The primary responsibility is to exceed the expectations of internal and external customers by providing exceptional service and support through email & chat channels driving digital tool adoption and revenue growth. * Assist customers with sales and service inquiries through: * Email * Chat * Online ordering platform * Advocate for customers and partner with United Rentals field employees to facilitate reservations, quotes, and service inquiries * Identify and qualify an equipment request to ensure it will meet customer's requirements * Using available resources source requests for various departments and employees. * Develop Subject Matter Expertise on all United Rentals technology tools e.g. (Total Control; UR Control; UR1 etc.) * Provide critical support to National Account Managers, Strategic Account Managers and Outside Sales Representatives for customer rollouts * Create a positive and consistent customer service experience while reducing customer's effort * Accurately capture all customer data accurately to ensure Order Accuracy * Negotiate rental rates for equipment rentals in accordance with pricing policies and procedures * High School diploma or equivalent * 1-2 years Customer Service Experience * Strong verbal skills and ability to speak clearly and articulate * Excellent oral and written communication skills * Data entry skills-40 wpm * Proficiency in Microsoft applications * Bilingual preferred * Reliable and dependable * Flexibility and ability to deal with a high volume of tasks, stressful, and sometimes unfamiliar situations * Excellent time management and efficiency skills * Excellent organizational skills with heavy attention to detail required * Deals constructively with conflict and responds professionally * Demonstrates strong level of internal (company) customer service in interactions * Demonstrates strong work ethic and commitment to job and company Values and Culture: * Safety First, using time effectively for breaks and stretching. * Being focused on the customer's needs * Being passionate about quality * Decisions based on facts and integrity * Being driven by goals and results * Taking ownership and being accountable for all we do * Being proactive with a can-do attitude * Being a team player * Being open and honest * Being adaptive to change * Office environment, sitting at a desk and working on a computer United Rentals, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer of women, minorities, protected veterans and individuals with disabilities.
