University Hospital and Medical Center is a 317-bed acute care hospital offering a wide range of surgical and medical services as well as an academic teaching center for Behavioral Health. Job Description:

  • Documents and completes records/reports according to departmental/organization guidelines.
  • Documents review findings as per Quality Management department standards.
  • Assists VP with ensuring staff education and compliance with all appropriate administrative, Departmental, Infection Control, Safety, Risk Management and Human Resources policies and procedures and with regulatory/accrediting requirements.
  • Provides documented reports of findings from data collection as requested.
  • Participates in the medical staff reappointment process by providing input from performance assessment activities to the medical staff QA files.

 

Qualifications

Qualifications:
  • Licensed Registered Nurse in the state of Florida 
    • or Recognized Compact Licensure (subject to Florida State Licensing Requirements, including/not limited to ongoing eligibility and duration provisions).
  • Associates Degree in Nursing
  • CPHQ Preferred
  • 3 - 5 years of experience
    • Experience as RN in Acute care or hospital preferred
