The budgeted amount for this position is $61,600 - $70,000.Working under the direction of the Sr. Director of Annual Giving and Prospect Research and Development, the Senior Prospect Research Analyst (Analyst) is responsible for providing data-driven solutions to Prospect Management and Research programs. As part of the Prospect Research team, the Analyst will support the development of analytical strategies, tools, and ad-hoc reports to support prospect research programs such as centralized portfolio management, prospect identification, and assignment, portfolio analysis, portfolio penetration, proposal activity, etc. Provide on-going assessments of programs' effectiveness - coordinate routine and ad hoc analysis and reporting on University-wide prospect qualification, cultivation and solicitation activities. In collaboration with the Prospect Research team, plan, develop and implement custom predictive models to facilitate the identification of high-quality prospects to ensure portfolios have a sufficient number of prospects to meet goals and to develop an understanding of donor behavior. Experience Experience Requirement 4 - 7 years of related experience. Required Experience in prospect research, development, library research, journalism, or related field. Preferred
Minimum Requirements Thorough knowledge of confidentiality, regulatory and university policies governing research activities.
Thorough knowledge of prospect research techniques, tools and data analysis.
Proven ability to manage a project through to completion while performing a wide variety of tasks, adapting to changing priorities, deadlines and directions.
Strong verbal and written communication skills to explain technical concepts and articulate reasoning behind analysis and recommendations. Active listening skills to understand varying opinions and receive feedback.
Strong computer skills using Excel, MS Word, and the Web.
Interpersonal skills to maintain professional relationships with peers, team members and management.
Strong skills to evaluate issues and identify solutions within defined procedures and policies. Proven ability to address problems and suggest solutions through critical thinking process.
Strong technical skills to utilize and manipulate database, biographical, financial and other research systems and tools. Ability to extract information and generate reports from complex databases. Familiarity with research data interpretation such as SEC, Real Estate and Compensation documentation.
Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of ethics statements by Association of Professional Researchers for Advancement(APRA), Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) and other appropriateassociations.

Strong Knowledge of statistical packages, such as Tableau, R, SAS.

Knowledge of Raiser's Edge database.
