Pharmacy Technician - Full Time
Hours: This position is 40 hours a week with a typical work schedule of Monday-Friday 7:30am-4:00pm, no weekends or Holiday requirements, some flexibility on scheduling desired if needed.
As a Comprehensive Pharmacy Services (CPS) Pharmacy Technician, you will assist in various pharmacy activities under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist. Your responsibilities will include preparing, delivering, and restocking medications; performing order entry; procuring drugs; billing. You will carry out your job duties according to written procedures and guidelines based on pharmacy standards and regulatory requirements.
About the Facility: CenterPointe Hospital of Columbia provides intensive inpatient psychiatric acute care to stabilize an immediate crisis and help provide patients with the skills to prevent future crisis situations to patients 18 and older. The Stepping Stones behavioral health treatment program for adolescents at CenterPointe Hospital of Columbia offers a unique adolescent inpatient program to help teens ages 12 through 17 who are struggling with emotional problems and substance abuse. CenterPointe provides an ideal place for teens who are struggling with the challenges faced by our youth today. Comprehensive Pharmacy Services has partnered with CenterPointe Hospital to manage the day to day operations of the pharmacy; with all pharmacy staff being employed by CPS.
- High School Diploma or GED
- Recent experience in a hospital or retail pharmacy
- Missouri Pharmacy Technician licensure that is currently active and in good standing
- Proficient computer skills including experience using Microsoft Office
- Effective communications skills; verbal and written
