Signature Psychiatric Hospital
As a Comprehensive Pharmacy Services (CPS) Pharmacy Technician at Signature Psychiatric Hospital, you will assist in various pharmacy activities under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist. Your responsibilities will include preparing, delivering, and restocking medications; performing order entry; procuring drugs; billing. You will carry out your job duties according to written procedures and guidelines based on pharmacy standards and regulatory requirements.. This position is regularly scheduled to work 20-24 hours each week during the day shift, Monday-Friday.
About the Facility: Signature Psychiatric Hospital, has two locations, one in Kansas City and Liberty MO. Both are Joint Commission accredited and licensed for 36 beds, with an average daily census of 34 patients. This facility provides inpatient and outpatient behavioral, mental health services for adult and geriatric patients . The pharmacy is open Monday-Friday from 8am to 4:30pm. Comprehensive Pharmacy Services has partnered with Signature Hospital to manage the day to day operations of the pharmacy; with all pharmacy staff being employed by CPS.
- High School Diploma or GED
- Recent experience in a hospital or retail pharmacy
- State Licensure/Registration/Certification requirements
- Proficient computer skills including experience using Microsoft Office
- Effective communications skills; verbal and written
