Position Summary:

As a Coolant Technician you will be responsible for execution of the PM schedule and the upkeep of the coolant system. Must be a self-starter, a good manager of time , work independently and follow company policy standards for safety and conduct.

Position Responsibilities:

      

  • Execute PM schedule.
  • Maintain coolant recovery system.
  • Monitor coolant percentages in coolant recovery system and on CNC machines.
  • Maintain coolant tanks and pumps on CNC machines.
  • Sump and clean tanks.
  • Maintain bag filter by cleaning and replacing filter as required.
  • Assist in additional tasks as directed by maintenance team.

Specific Knowledge, Skills or Abilities Required:

  • Mechanically inclined.
  • Troubleshooting and problem solving skill.

Position Qualifications:

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent

Experience: 

3+ years in a production or machine shop environment.  

Work Environment and Physical Requirements:

Manufacturing Environment

Lift up to 50 lbs. regularly

Requires walking, standing, bending and lifting for long periods of time

Vision abilities required to validate and enter data on computer
