Kelly Services is hiring for an Escrow Assistant to work with a local title company in Longview, TX.

Pay: $16+/hour (based on experience)
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8a-5p (May include some overtime)

Job Title: Escrow Assistant
Position Overview: The Escrow Assistant supports the escrow officer in processing real estate transactions. This role involves administrative duties, communication with clients and stakeholders, document management, and ensuring all escrow instructions and legal requirements are followed.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist escrow officer in opening, maintaining, and closing escrow files
  • Prepare, review, and process escrow documents and contracts
  • Communicate with buyers, sellers, real estate agents, lenders, and title companies
  • Obtain and review title commitments, payoffs, and other pertinent documents
  • Monitor transaction deadlines and compliance with contractual requirements
  • Manage file documentation—including scanning, filing, and organizing records
  • Provide status updates and answer client inquiries throughout escrow process
  • Perform data entry and maintain accurate records in escrow management systems
  • Coordinate signing appointments and facilitate the collection of required signatures
  • Ensure funds are received and disbursed per escrow instructions and company procedures
  • Prepare final closing statements and related documents for review
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Effective verbal and written communication abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and escrow management software
  • Ability to handle confidential information
  • Customer service-oriented with a professional demeanor
  • Experience in administrative support; prior escrow or real estate experience preferred
Education:
  • High school diploma or equivalent (required)
  • Additional escrow or real estate certifications (optional)
Work Environment:
  • Office-based
  • Fast-paced with deadlines and high-volume transactions
