Description

Shipping/Receiving Worker
Location: Concord, CA
Schedule: Full-Time- M-F 6AM- 2:30PM
Pay rate: $23/HR
Responsibilities:

  • Identify orders to be shipped by coordinating daily production schedules, sales order reports, and credit hold information.
  • Direct and coordinate the work of others in the shipping area.
  • Support and uphold the Quality Assurance policy as required by ISO 9001 and IATF 16949.
  • Perform various tasks in shipping, on MATS, or with other teams as assigned.
  • Work from drawings, ECOs, deviations, established procedures, and work instructions.
  • Demonstrate responsiveness to customer needs through prompt and accurate work.
  • Anticipate and resolve potential issues to prevent late deliveries and mistakes affecting shipments.
  • Ensure accurate receipt of work orders into finished goods stock.
  • Guarantee that product is shipped to customers on time and according to specifications.
  • Maintain attention to detail, ensuring flawless completion of each assignment before moving to the next.
  • May be required to work in other production units as needed.
  • Navigate UPS, FedEx, and/or DHL manifests proficiently.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • At least 12 months of shipping experience preferred.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and maintain close attention to details.
  • Capable of planning and anticipating job demands and communicating effectively.
  • Able to work independently or as part of a team to achieve goals.
  • Engages with various team members, leaders, and external shipping companies.
Physical Demands:
  • Frequently use hands to operate equipment and handle materials/parts.
  • Regularly stand for long periods, walk, stoop, kneel, talk, hear, and reach.
  • Occasionally crouch, crawl, climb, balance, or lift more than 25 lbs.
  • Requires close vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment:
  • Regular exposure to moving parts, fumes, airborne particles, and chemicals.
  • Occasional exposure to vibration and extreme heat.
  • Moderate noise level.
