I’m sorry… did you say brand? That’s marketing’s job.
Yes, we said employer brand. One company, two distinct brands. It’s not either/or—both live together, each with its own purpose.

| How HireSocial posts stay marketing compliant |
Captions are generated from your job listings and career
site content, ensuring they reflect your brand voice with every post.
Images are generated using your brand colors and logos. You can upload your own marketing-approved images and videos to the media library to use in addition to, or instead of, HireSocial’s branded graphics. |
HireSocial is built specifically for hiring teams. That said, we could also pull content from your entire website to generate marketing posts, if you’re interested. |
Ok, so HireSocial posts are brand-compliant. Marketing still doesn’t have room in our social calendar to post hiring content.
HireSocial publishing is designed to complement, not conflict with, your marketing posts. Let’s break down where we post and how we see customers implement their publishing strategy.
| Profile Type | Platforms | How our customers use it |
|---|---|---|
| Company/Corporate accounts | LinkedIn, X, Facebook, Instagram |
Free rein. When customers can use one or multiple channels without restriction—likely because marketing doesn’t use them.
Limited. Marketing is likely using some or all of these channels. Some marketing teams allow one post per week from their talent teams, while others share one monthly post highlighting all open jobs. Not at all. Some teams have way too much marketing content to post, leaving no room for talent content. That’s ok: HireSocial publishes to recruiter and employee profiles, and some customers even create career-specific social media profiles for their hiring brand. |
| Recruiter accounts | ATS listings from recruiters automatically sync with HireSocial, so only their jobs go live. They choose how often to post, making it easy to avoid overlapping if they are already sharing marketing content. | |
| Employee accounts |
Employees share jobs and employer brand content. Similarly to recruiters, they choose how often to post, making it easy to avoid overlapping if they are already sharing marketing content.
Every team is different. Employee accounts can include just your talent acquisition team and hiring managers, or everyone in your organization. It’s completely up to you who you invite to participate! |

Frequently Asked Questions
Can my talent team skip employer brand posts and only focus on jobs?
While we don’t recommend skipping employer brand posts—it will cost you later—you absolutely can just focus on jobs. Some HireSocial customers start by getting their jobs up and running to maximize applicant traffic to immediate openings, then add employer brand content as they expand their program to maintain visibility and support a long-term, proactive hiring strategy.
I only want my talent team to post marketing-created images. Is that possible?
You bet! Many HireSocial customers have strict marketing guidelines, too—including only posting marketing-created assets. You can turn off autogenerated branded graphics, so only the images and videos you upload to the media library appear as post options.
Can we skip company profiles and only post on recruiter and employee profiles?
Absolutely! A lot of HireSocial customers choose to post only on recruiter and employee profiles. In fact, connecting just five recruiter or employee profiles drives 1.8x more job clicks on average.
